The funding regulations of the Doerenkamp-Zbinden Foundation are currently being completely redrafted. The establishment of endowed chairs is seen as much more effective in spreading the 3Rs principle. The funding of individual projects, on the other hand, must take a back seat. Accordingly, the funding guidelines must also be redesigned. In the coming years, the focus of research funding will be on the endowed chairs in Constance, Utrecht, Geneva and Baltimore.
